Humans are the only living beings in this world who can express their thoughts ,emotions ,ideas and feelings through the medium of language or through gestures.The very basis of human relations is, this ability to communicate effectively.
Human relations are very delicate and intricate.This matter is to be dealt with very carefully by everybody,lest person to person or country to country relationships get strained.Egos,anger, jealousies,hatred,domination,violence,injustice and fraud are the factors which cause strained relationships.Love ,friendship,mercy,helpfulness,tolerance,non-violence,justice and kindness are the characters which promote the human relations.But these qualities should be present in both the parties.,to promote good relations.Unfortunately, no such ideal situation exists, in the real world.Then ,how to develop and optimize good relationships.
I feel that, the following points will be helpful.
Understand well the other person's viewpoint.
Understand and analyze the situation in which the other person is in.
Before we expect a certain behavior from someone,show similar behavior.{love or friendship}towards him or her..
Express yourself well without any communication gap.
Extend friendly and helpful hand .
Create a peaceful atmosphere around you, as far as possible.
Ignore certain qualities which you don't like in the other person.
In spite of all this if the other person's behavior is bothering us we should either avoid him or ignore him. Think of other possible solutions.But never loose confidence.One need not put his happiness in the hands of others.
